VVAscripttail VVA 2015

American Indian Veterans Memorial, Inc.’s (AIVMI) executive staff was at the Vietnam Veterans of America’s (VVA) 17th National Convention.

The national convention was in Springfield, Illinois from July 21 -25. Present, representing AIVMI was President Stephen Bowers, Project Director Elizabeth Bates, and Social Media Director Roy Murry. Mr. Bowers and Mr. Murry are members of Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 23.

Also, part of the AIVMI team was Cyndy Webster, Mr. Bowers Administrative Assistant and George Multos, Treasurer of Chapter 23.

 Delegate Bowers attended Constitutional, Agent Orange, and Minority committees.

 Delegate Murry attended Veterans Benefits and Public Affairs committees.

 Delegate Multos attended POW/MIA and Constitutional committees.

All delegates attended Convention’s General Sessions and election Regional caucuses, while AVVA members Ms. Bates and Ms. Webster promoted AIVMI at its booth on the Veteran’s Mall.

Major events:

AIVMI’s resolution was passed by VVA’s 756 delegate unanimously, giving support to its project within the Education Center at the wall http://bit.ly/1In1Ygt .
